Following up with my last message. I couldn't find anything he said about
the file uploads/downloads being broken, so it was either something I read
on slbbs.com or in talking with Hawk from Black Flag. Not sure which, but
something you'll want to look into.
The other thing that is also pertinent. I've noticed most of your fido
dates are out of whack. Showing dates as far back as 1970. Here's what
Chris had to say about that.
From Chris Costakis:
The only issue I know of with slmail in v5 is the fact that it doesn't work
right with the message bases which were updated for Y2K support - I don't
think SLMAIL was ever updated along with everything else that was. So,
William McBrine wrote makedate (available at https://wmcbrine.com/sl/index.h
tml) which basically flips your message bases to the old format, runs your
slmail process, then flips them back to the new format. I probably should
grab a copy and host it on the site - I didn't see it in my files list.
Hopefully that can get your date issues resolved as well.
-RJ
