Obviously entertainment, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
Like you, I didn't particularly enjoy VOY or ENT.  I watched them if
it was convenient for me but I didn't record them or lament missing an
episode.

If I find myself not enjoying a show I simply stop watching it.

If a show is being aired I don't want to see, no matter the name
attached to the series, I simply don't watch it.

If a film is being made I don't think is going to be enjoyable, I
don't drive to the cinema and pay eight to ten bucks to see it.

What I also don't do, and what I've seen some do here, is go to a
public forum and have a Class Triple-AAA Freakout over the whole
thing.
